Striking - Antonio Noguiera has proven to be a gifted striker with quick jabs that surprise many fighters. He has a protected boxing style that is perfect for him, but also likes knees from the clinch and will throw kicks when he can. Noguiera is an underrated striker because he always plays to his strengths and uses what he has (mostly speed and accuracy) very well.
Wrestling - Along with his teammates on the Top Team, Minotauro has excellent wrestling skill. He has proven to be able to successfully handle powerful wrestlers on the mat, transitioning from the defensive to offensive in an instant. Noguiera is also exceptional at takedowns
Hooking - A Jiu-Jitsu master, Noguiera is definitely one of the very best in the world. His submission accolades are impressive, he seems to have a handful of specialities though: Armbars and Triangle Chokeholds. The first was his favorite in RINGS, but since jumping into Pride the Triangle has given him the majority of his victories.
Strengthes - Noguiera has shown to be one of the great heavyweights because of his versitility alone. Few grapplers have been more dominant in fights as he displays aggression with submissions not usually seen out of Brazilians.
Weaknesses - The Brazilian has proven to be practically flawless, surprising opponents by revealing potential weaknesses as far from that. He's only suffered one loss and that was by decision, so it was not even that decisive.
Outlook - Noguiera came into Pride and immediately pushed his way up to the top heavyweight spot and even became their first champion. He has a nice resume behind him, but is now the target of numerous challengers. Unfortunately, Noguiera is not the charismatic, dynamic and native champion for the Japanese fans to get strongly behind. He is however a true talent and could certainly reign for some time.
