Outlook - Hirooki Goto is a natural. An accomplished amateur who became New Japan's super rookie upon his debut. Goto was pushed strong in the undercard and got over well. He has largely been a tag wrestler, first teaming with fellow young lion Ryusuke Taguchi, later with Yuji Nagata and most recently with Minoru as part of the CTU heel stable. That turn was an interesting choice by New Japan, but many companies are doing it with their most promising stars. Goto has been pushed hard since the start and now that he's amongst the established stars, he is given a more limited role while he grows. He is developing his personality to match his in-ring ability. Hopefully Hirooki Goto will continue his path and become the star that New Japan has been breeding him to be.
