Outlook - Makato Hashi was not destined for much in All Japan, but his prospects brightened substantially with the formation of Pro-Wrestling NOAH. He had a few years under his belt, some size and a role as the junior division's heel brawler. He hooked up with Jun Akiyama's stable and had some opportunities to work with heavyweights. Hashi was improving, but he seemed to be the odd man out much of the time. He was too unspectacular to be a top junior and too small to be anything but a heavyweight jobber. After a long absence, Hashi reemerged with some extra weight as a heavyweight. Although his weight looks unflattering, he is looks more like a legitimate heavyweight now. Makoto Hashi haas a style that is simple yet it effective, making him a good utility wrestler for NOAH.
