Outlook - Exceptional amateur wrestlers going pro having two routes: total successes or total washouts. Former Olympian Tamon Honda is one of the very few intermediates between those two. While he was never anything special in All Japan, where he wore down his knees, he's been pushed fairly strong in NOAH. Tamon Honda has GHC title shots here and there, but mainly works as a tag wrestler. He sells well and can get the crowd going when the action heats up late in tag matches. Age and physical condition continue to limit him. Honda developed into a good enough worker that he can probably hang in there for a while longer through working smart. He will remain a key supporting character for NOAH for the next few years for sure.
