Outlook - An aging dog who isn't learning any new tricks, Jun Izumida is one of the odd undercarders in NOAH who bounces in and out of the old man comedy tags. Sumos jumping to pro-wrestling have the same pitfalls of amateur wrestlers in the States, they're either great or total washouts. Izumida is closer to the latter. While NOAH seemed to want to run with him, like they did with Tamon Honda, Izumida just could not deliver the goods. He seems content to be a veteran who is just kind of filling the cards and at times he does his job with some exceptional zest. Jun Izumida does not really have the credibility or capability to help a rising heavyweight make it to the next level, so he works largely in tag matches and little past that.
