Outlook - Takeshi Morishima showed a lot of promise as a heavyweight upon NOAH's beginning. His tag team with Takeshi Rikio was solid. His partner was being groomed for a big push and Morishima was just putting on weight. He focused on developing himself in the US. The tubby twenty-something transformed into a clone of Terry Gordy. NOAH has gotten high on him and seems to be preparing him for the top spot that Rikio failed to fill. Morishima needs some improvement still. While he has moments of being a convincing big man, he does some things that hurt his credibility. Takeshi Morishima is coming into his own as a heavyweight and the next couple years will define his career. If NOAH pushes him properly and he steps up his game, he could be what the company has needed.
