Outlook - There were a variety of pro-wrestlers who came out of New Japan's Los Angeles Dojo, but few have amounted to much as of yet. One who received an immediate and strong push was Amazing Kong. A female answer to the hugely popular Bob Sapp, Kong began tearing through the dying joshi puroresu companies. Playing to the Japanese racism towards blacks, Kong was a loud-mouthed brawling monster who they pushed hard despite her lack of talent. She learned well though and within a few years of touring Japan and England, Kong was able to come back to the US and was a level above most of the female talent. Recently, TNA has brought her in and they may lead her to take off in the States. Most of the female wrestlers in the US are either models who can't work or workers who aren't models, but Kong does not need to be a model. She is a monster. While her future once seemed limited, now it looks exceptionally promising if the breaks keep coming.
