Outlook - James Storm was a Tennessee indy veteran who was picked up by NWA-TNA when they formed. He probably would have toiled in the undercard, but he and Chris Harris teamed up instead. America's Most Wanted spent the next five years developing into a great tag team. They fought to stay together, despite management's desire to split them up, have them feud and push Chris Harris into a top spot. They enjoyed numerous good programs, but it was their heel run that brought James Storm alive. For much of AMW's run, Storm seemed like the Robert Gibson to Harris' Ricky Morton. James Storm emerged as the true character in the team. He adopted an arrogant, beer-drinking heel persona that took him to another level. After their split, Harris floundered and Storm soared. TNA, perhaps accidently, put him in the right places at the right times. His work has improved and he seems to be developing into the complete package that most thought Chris Harris was. James Storm might become a breakout star for TNA that no one ever really expected.
