Outlook - Womens' wrestling on the US independents has been making a comeback and there are a handful of hotbeds producing some respectable talent. New England had drawn some attention due to April Hunter, who convinced her to break in and eventually teamed with her as the "Killer Babes." Roxx really showed promise and some regular trips to Mexico helped her game improve significantly. Roxx's generic look is overlooked once she gets going in the ring. After moving up the ladder steadily in the past few years, TNA signed her. Remade as a supposed descendent of Marie Laveaux, Roxxi Leveaux became the bizarre manager of the Voodoo Kin Mafia. Her gimmick and look are campy, but Roxxi is solid in the ring and a strong player for TNA's Knockout division. Although the "Voodoo Queen" probably has a limited shelf life, Roxxi Laveaux has the ability to be a leading heel amongst the TNA girls, hopefully they can continue to use her properly.
