Outlook - Dave Batista is a tremendous physical specimen who has made great strides in the pro-wrestling world, largely do to his look. He got his first break as Leviathan, a monster-in-waiting in OVW. His thick, yet chiseled body covered in tattoos and bald head made for an impressive visual. However, he was hurried into the WWE and many worried he would be badly damaged his packaging. Robbed of the monster push that would've fit him much better, Batista had a lucky break that launched his real career. Placed in a heel stable with the company's top star Triple H, the legendary Ric Flair and fellow future ace Randy Orton, Batista was able to grow in ways that few have the opportunity to. After Orton's split was rushed, it opened the chance for Batista's split, which was done more properly and paid big dividends in establishing him as a top star. Then some key departures led to Batista being pushed to an even higher level sooner. It worked and "The Animal" became one of the feature attractions in a recovering company. Batista did a masterful job developing his presentations - his machine gun entrance, his rope shaking, his thumbs down taunt and those greatly aid his popularity. Although injuries have always plagued him, age is Batista's biggest enemy. Nearing forty (making him older than Triple H) and alongside guys ten years younger, Batista will have a hard time keeping his spot unless he can maintain it very well.
