Outlook - CM Punk has been one of the most talked wrestlers since 2002 when he was a mainstay in IWA Mid-South. Punk was a good worker who could talk and had a unique gimmick. Like the greats of old, he was an amplified version of his true self and that made him standout in the crowd. Punk began working everywhere he could and worked his way up the ranks in Ring of Honor, the top indy in the US. He shocked people when he signed with the WWE in 2005, but he has really turned his abilities into a nice, neat package. CM Punk needs to be packaged as this character he's been crafting for years. He is a top notch worker and a fantastic talker, what more does he need? Although his ability to work the types of matches he's known for might not be the WWE style, he can still do them in a condensed way that will get over with the right exposure and push. Punk's potential is great and the writers would be wise to just have him continue as he has on their television.
