Outlook - Chavo Guerrero Jr. has spent much of his career struggling to break out of his uncle Eddy's shadow.
After Eddy left WCW, it gave Chavo a little of breathing room in which to establish himself. He was WCW's most solid
cruiserweight, a lot like Eddy had been. After WCW was bought by the WWF, Chavo struggled to find his place. Eddy had
been becoming an excellent upper midcarder with a lot of charisma and he was also one of the best workers in the world.
When Eddy came back after being released for repeated drug problems, Chavo and he were paired up as "Los Guerreros." They
took Eddy's sleazy "lie, cheat and steal" gimmick to another level and Chavo was a solid sidekick. The run got Eddy even
more over and he began getting pushed into the main event scene while Chavo again toiled in the midcard. They eventually
repackaged him as "Kerwin White," an ironic middle class white male. The gimmick was lame and was fully abandoned after
Eddy's untimely death. After that the WWE began getting into some pathetic storylines with Chavo, Rey Mysterio and Eddy's
widow Vickie. Although Chavo has pushed, the touchy nature of his gimmick has perhaps tainted his name. He is a solid
talent, but seems to be past the point where he will make it to the upper echelon in the WWE.
