Outlook - Hardcore Holly is one of the enduring holdovers from the “WWF Attitude” era, who has assumed the position of the longest reigning undercarder in the company. He is that certain individual who despite being in his forties, prone to injuries, abusive to younger wrestlers and definitely past his prime, is still around and kept pretty strong. After paying his dues as a lame gimmicked jobber, Holly was repackaged a couple times and ended up being in the right place at the right time. The company has attempted to push him as a weak title challenger periodically, but Holly has a definitive level that he is not talented enough to break out of. I would expect him to keep going for a while longer as he’s been hanging on for over five years. Unfortunately he is not a good enough worker to strongly elevate up-and-coming talent, but he continues to work in that capacity.
