Outlook - Jeff and Matt Hardy rose from backyard wrestling through the independents to pro-wrestling superstars. Jeff Hardy never developed in his role, however he gained a cult-like following that helped the Hardy Boyz become big stars when pro-wrestling was at its hottest. Along the way, Jeff was pigeon-holed into a daredevil persona that he killed himself to uphold. Jeff Hardy has encured countless bumps and bruises that are finally adding up. After leaving the WWE in 2003, Jeff Hardy tried to reinvent himself in TNA. Ultimately, he was a big draw, but undependable for the company. The WWE welcomed him back and he has resettled into a midcard role, where he can bring in his dedicated fans, but is not a vital role in case he leaves again. Hardy will go down in WWF/WWE history as figure like Jimmy Snuka at best, a worn down wrestler who was reckless but entertaining.
