Outlook - Rey Mysterio is one of the greatest luchadors ever. He was an innovative highflyer in Mexico who broke barriers there based on his size. He came to the US and was definitely the top star of WCW's Cruiserweight division, which largely grew because of his presence. In time he bulked up, lost his hood and his body began to break down. After a stretch of mediocrity, Rey was born again first in late WCW's Cruiserweight division, then in Mexico after the company's death and yet again in the WWE. After a lengthy midcard run, the WWE decided to push Mysterio to the next level. After the death of Eddy Guerrero, Rey was put over the top by winning the WWE Championship and enjoying a short run. He remains marketable and a seasoned worker, but his body is beaten up. His added mass and continued bumps are taking their toll. He continues to troop on and the WWE rewards him for his dedication. How much longer can he last though? Mysterio is reaching his mid-30s and may only have a few more good years left in him before he begins rapidly breaking down.
