Outlook - Chuck Palumbo may very well have been a top star in WCW, if the company had not been bought by Vince McMahon in 2001. He was one of the most impressive members of the Natural Born Thrillers, a stable of young heels that WCW was getting behind. Instead, Palumbo was brought into the WWF fold, exposed and turned into another midcard nobody in short order. Palumbo had found a good place in tag teams with limited partners like Shawn Stasiak, Sean O'Haire, Billy Gunn and Johnny Stamboli. His team with Billy Gunn got over as a gay pair with a lot of mainstream press before they revealed it was an act and the gimmick was ended. He and Stamboli played Italians and worked Japan, Mexico and Italy after being let go. Palumbo had really pushed to do a "Monster Garage" gimmick, but the Undertaker had that resident biker spot. Eventually, he was brought back, given the biker gimmick and had some steam. Palumbo was given a valet, however he never seemed to move past his initial push and has been stagnating in the midcard ever since. While Chuck Palumbo does not seem to have top star potential, he has the ability to be a strong supporting chacter who can mean something if used correctly, although the company seems to lose confidence in him any time he gets a push.
