Outlook - The most successful of Harley Race's students, Trevor Murdoch is one of the most solid prospects the WWE has picked up in recent years. Race's WLW has had a good alliance with NOAH since the company's beginnings. The standouts typically spend time there and he did just that. He also had a gimmick-oriented stint as Stan Dupp, a member of the ridiculous hillbilly family, which taught him about adding color. Murdoch picked up the Japanese hard-hitting style and meshed it with Race's brand of rasslin' to create a wildly entertaining product. He became Trevor Murdoch in the WWE and they've pushed him very well considering his look is not what you often see on their TV shows. Murdoch might not have main event potential right now, but he's a talented twenty-something with color and that will hopefully take him far.
