Place in History - One of the best workers produced by BattlARTS, Daisuke Ikeda was one of the company's hot young guns who never capitalized on his fame there. While Ikeda was as good at the worked shoot style as anyone in the company's history, other companies have either not put him in there with quality opponents or do not push him properly. Ikeda's brutal strikes are perhaps the best in the genre as they are both stiff and smartly used. Also adept at matwork, Daisuke Ikeda, like many of the BattlARTS guys, came to late to the style and while they could have been players in the UWFI they were at a loss with their indy group. He, like many of his peers, tried his hands at other indies with less than stellar results. Ikeda is a talented worker who in his style is among the best, but when he tries outside things the results have not been quite as good.
