Outlook - Kazuki Okubo came along in the twilight years of RINGS, but by that time it was a limited shoot organization. He is a Tamura protege, which has given him a leg up in breaking into to MMA. However, Okubo is on the small side and is not an exceptional fighter. With the opening of U-Style, Okubo was given a place to really help himself. For better or for worse, Okubo looks like fighter doing a shoot-style. Unlike people in the past, his striking and technique looks strong, he just hasn't grasped how the worked aspect of it allows room for creativity. Okubo is still kind of dull, but he's learning and can have fun fights with the right people.
