Work with us on ties

The following article was taken from The Gun Show Magazine, Washington Arms Collectors. Author Don Mancini emphasized safety points that are applicable for D.A.C.A. members, too.

We all know that all firearms must have their actions tied open (at gun shows). Where that is impractical due to design consideration the arm will have its action tied to make it inoperable. And, all detachable magazines, including rimfire tubular feeding devices, will be removed from a firearm before it is placed on the table. This is for your protection, the protection of fellow table holders, members and our guests.

Some table holders and members are ignoring these common sense safety rules. Our security staff is there to help by reminding you. When they see untied weapons on a table or on a person and ask you to tie them, please don't babble nonsense. Table holders know . . . the rules of the road.

Now, if you feel you can't work with our safety rules and it's too much of a hardship to be safe, we understand. No problem. We like you, but not that much. Please go play somewhere else.
