| Bear me back to shore. |

| This was originally just a writing assignment for English, but it's really a metaphore for the way I live my life. I think it's one of my favorite works. | ||||
| Pirate's Song The waves crash gently on the sand The morning tide has come again I rise to face the early sun A new day has again begun My heart, entwined with ocean's spray Does not know how to shrink away But bravely faces every squall To hear again the seabirds call With faith my soul does journey on With hope it faces each new dawn So that when I on white shores lay Evening tides would bear me away. ~ T.M.
