hold its monthly meeting at 6:00 at St. Johns
Episcopal Church in Marquette January 28 Speak UP and Citizens for Peace and Justice wild hold a panel discussion on the Bush Administration's "Project for a New American Century" at 6:30 in the Community Room at PWPL. Panelists will include Professors Aura Syed and Robbie Goodrich among others. February 7 Remember to vote in the Democratic caucus February 12 A fund- / consciousness-raising benefit concert for Wahat al-Salam/Neve Shalom is scheduled in the Peter White Library Community Room (7 pm). Featured artists will be Frostbitten Grass (local) and John Smith (Madison, WI). Oasis of Peace is a community established between Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, cooperatively habitated, governed, staffed, schooled by Palestinians and Israelis. This exercise in cooperation has been in existence for over 20 years, and is sanctioned by neither government. 231 Gallery/Studios Upcoming events: Present-Dec. 27: Holiday Exhibit Dec. 29-Jan. 31: Ryan Dalman/Jason Schneider Show. Public Reception Friday, Jan. 2nd, music and refreshments provided Citizens for Peace and Justice will not be meeting at their regularly scheduled times due to the holiday season. New meeting times are as follows: Dec. 3 and Dec. 17 at Messiah Lutheran Church at 7 pm. The Saturday vigils at the post office will be held beginning at 11:30 am each Saturday morning. North Country Greens meets on the third Wednesday of each month in the Conference Room on the main floor of the Peter White Public Library at 7:00 pm. United Students meets every Thursday in the Lounge below Olsen Library at 6:00.
