Early End
In the last days of my innocence
You turned it upside-down
Why'd you have to leave so soon?
I'm stranded here to drown
Dying in slow motion
You'd nothing left to lose
Ignoring those who loved you
Made it easier to choose
All the words that went unsaid
Fester in my mind
All our precious memories
I'm forced to leave behind
I can't begin to know your torment
Perhaps I'll never comprehend
How you took your life for granted
and brought it to and early end
When you're watching over me
In all of my years to come
I'll wonder if you're proud of me
and the good deeds I'll have done
Dad, you were so selfish
There will never come a day
When I'm not thinking of you
When I close my eyes to pray
