This is a simple CW transmitter I built up. It uses a single 6L6 tube and is set up for 40 meters. It can cover all HF bands by using different coils. I didn't have a coil for when I built the rig up so I used a dead 6L6 mounted on a tube socket as a form. By winding different coils for other bands on other dead tubes, bands can be changed pretty easily. As it appears, this rig was built totally from "junk box" parts. The first time I called CQ with this rig, I was answered by a ham in Virginia.
