Inzaghi pledges future to Milan
Italian international Filippo Inzaghi wants to remain at AC Milan for the rest of his career.

The talented forward has had a superb season for the Rossoneri so far.

Inzaghi is the joint highest goalscorer in the Champions League, along with Inter Milan's Hernan Crespo, with nine goals.

He has also scored eight goals in Serie A, helping his club to the top of the table.

"If it is possible, I want to remain at Milan all my life," said Inzaghi on the club's official website, www.acmilan.it.

The 29-year-old joined AC Milan in the 2001-2002 season from Juventus and has a contract with the club until June, 2006.

His first season at the San Siro was less than glorious.

"Super Pippo", as he is nicknamed in the fashion capital, only made 22 appearances, scoring 10 goals.

The Piacenza-born player was overshadowed by Ukrainian striker Andriy Shevchenko, who was Carlo Ancelotti's preferred choice.

However, Inzaghi now feels at home and has no intention of leaving the Rossoneri club.

"Here I am in a family and I talk a lot with (president Adriano) Galliani," he added.

"It looks like I could finish my career here and then I could coach the youth teams, to show them the tricks of the trade."
