Game 1:
TGO's 4-3 Taliban all-stars
Goal Scorers: Brianni 2, Georgiou 1, Thornett 1
Game Summary: It was the start to yet another hopeful season for the TGO's. The 1st game would always be tough. The players would have to regain fitness and their touch. But they started of well as Koryozo from midfield gave a inch perfect through ball to star striker Brianni to finish superbly in the corner. He then hit another and regained the form of last season. But the savior of the game was Matt Thornett as he scored a
winner in the 2nd half to give the TGO's a good 1st win.
MOM
: Brianni, his scoring form was vital.

Game 2:
TGO's 3-1 All Massive
Goal Scorers: Thornett 2, Sette 1
Game Summary: The TGO team was depleted as defender Georgiou couldn't make it. The game was once again dominated by the TGO's but only because of missed opportunities the score line was flattering to all massive. The post was struck several times as Ocenasek and Koryozo rotated in goals, while Thornett scored 2 scorchers to win the game. The first came after bringing the ball out of defence he looked to pass but instead shot from
long range to beat the keeper. The 2nd was out of the top draw as he controlled the ball on his thigh to volley in to the far corner. It would be a sure for contender of the season even in the EPL.

: Thornett, his mazy runs at class finishing won the game for TGO

Game 3:
TGO's 9-0 Ticketty Boo
Goal Scorers: Ocenasek 3, Georgiou 3, Tantis 2, Brianni 1
Game Summary: Well what can we say. A demolition as the TGO's ran riot. Shot after shot came but only 9 were converted. Matt Thornett failed to get a goal after numerous chances, but what would a Thornett goal be worth unless it was the match winner. This game saw reliable keeper Justin Ocenasek pass the keeping rains to captain Reagan Koryozo. Ocenasek and rock solid center back Kristen Georgiou starred as they both hit
impressive hat tricks. Star striker Brianni had an off day but he if he doesn't score he sets them up. Tantis hit 2 goals. One was a cracker as he controlled beat the defenders and cracked from long range for the ball to fly in to the net. Yet another great performance by the TGO's. Even keeper Koryozo grabbed an assist as he threw to reliable defender Georgiou who then went on a typical solo run to score a fine goal.

: Ocenasek, just for the fact that the keeper scored a hat-trick.

Game 4:
TGO's 5-0 Taliban all-stars
Goal Scorers: Forfeit is 5-0 win
Game Summary: The Taliban all-stars forfeited as they didn't have a full squad and also with the TGO's in red hot form, they didn't want a hammering.
MOM
: TGO's, for at least showing up.

Game 5:
TGO's 4-3 Black Snakes
Goal Scorers: Sette 2, Tantis 1, Thornett 1
Game Summary: The game at the start was tight with very few chances. This was a battle between the 2 heavy weights of the competition. Finally TGO's got the breakthrough with a Tantis shot to the bottom corner. The Black Snakes equalized only to see Sette hit 2 goals to put TGO's 3-1 ahead. His 1st a cracking long range volley which gave TGO's a great lift. The 2nd was equally as good, Sette pulled of a tricky maneuver which dazzled the defender and a quick shot into the corner
gave the TGO's a 2 goal lead. But the TGO's let their concentration slip as they let in 2 scrappy goals in.
After Keeper Ocenasek made a string of saves to keep TGO's in the match. But
the winner was scored by Matt Thornett, the 3rd time this season where his goals have been match winners, at the death he shot as the keeper saved but it wasn't enough as it bounced off the ground to slowly dribble over the line much to the keepers agony. They held on in a tight finish in what was the game of the season.

: Ocenasek, his saves were extraordinary & Sette, for 2 cracker goals.

Game 6:
TGO's 5-2 Hooked Up
Goal Scorers: Brianni 3, Ocenasek 1, Georgiou 1
Game Summary: The TGO's were missing attacking livewire Nathan Sette but they still put in a good performance. Striker Brianni got the TGO's underway with a fine striker to the bottom corner. The 2nd Brianni found himself with a tight angle but managed to fire in to the far corner out of the keeper's reach. The TGO's were a bit lucky as a great left foot volley by a Hooked Up player struck the post. But in typical style the TGO's
struck back with a Ocenasek shot that rocketed to the bottom corner. Brianni sealed his hat trick with a cool finish as center back Georgiou ended the game as a contest as his shot deflected in. Hooked Up grabbed 2 consolation goals which only gave them a confidence boost and nothing more. It was another case though of missed opportunities for the TGO's as they spurned more chances to increase the lead. But once again another dominating
performance from the TGO's.

: Brianni scored a wonderful hat-trick to inspire TGO's.

Game7:
TGO's 2-3 Cottie Goal Scorers: Brianni 1, Sette 1
Game Summary: The TGO's were missing Tantis who was on
holiday and Georgiou who couldn't make it. That cost them in the
end as in the dying seconds they looked tired. The game started
well for them as Sette slotted the ball nicely into the corner
to put them 1-0 up. Cottie's keeper than gave away a penalty
which put TGO's 2-0 up. Koryozo took the rains as keeper and
late in the 1st half made a wonderful one on one save. But in the 2nd
half the TGO's tiredness made them miss chances which would
usually be put away and caused them to be slack in defence.
A long range shot found its way through Koryozo's legs who found
himself unbalanced and unable to get his hands to the ball. It
was an unexpected goal but the TGO's should of increased the
lead were unlucky after Sette hit the post. Koryozo then
redeemed himself with a good save that was heading to his near
post and he got a hand to it. The equalizer than came as slack
marking caused Cottie to have a free player, who then fired the
ball into the far corner to make things level. The TGO's
responded by lifting their game only for Thornett to make a
blunder in the dying seconds to put Cottie one on one for the
winner. But blame can't be put Thornett's mistake at the end as
he has saved the TGO's a number of times with cracking winners.
It was a game that they could of done with a sub. They looked
tired at the end as Ocenasek, Thornett, Brianni and Sette worked
extremely hard on the field. Never mind. The TGO's are in a
strong position and will surely gain revenge at some point of
the season when they have a full team.
MOM
: Sette who scored a great goal and worked very hard in the
dying minutes to get back in the game (It was hard to pick it as
the TGO's did not have a usual inspiring game).
