Flowerpot Men. Clive said no way to that name and referred to his alter character as "Evil Ben"
until the name Derek was chosen.

This was mentioned Wednesday, August 6, 1997, as he and Meg were trapped in the cave.
When I looked up the name meaning for Derek it said see: Theodoric. Upon looking up Theodoric,
it also means the name Ted. Probably without ever knowing it, Mr. and Mrs. Evan's named two of
their children with the name sake (Derek and Ted).
His reason? Because he wanted to move on and make a life with Meg. Yippppppeeee.
He reminisces at the swing, then heads to the pier. There, he stares out at the ocean. For the
rest of the night The Deep is cleared out where Ben sits by himself at a candle lit table.
