NBA Comparisons:
|
Optimistic Outlook: Detlef Schrempf |
Pessimistic Outlook: Hanno Mottola |
Strengths: Exceptional passing skills
and great court vision. Extremely versatile player at
6-10 and can play the 1, 2, and 3. Excellent ball handling
skills for a player his size and exceptionally explosive
off the dribble. Good shooter and overall fundamentally
sound. Cerebral player with a good feel for the game.
Looks very comfortable on the floor with a certain professional
poise.
Weaknesses: Scoring ability is a mystery.
He scored averaged 31.6 ppg on his SISU Kopenhagen team,
but averaged only 10.2 when he left Florida. Defense
and rebounding could use improvement.
Bottom Line: Christian is an intriguing
prospect that is very unique. Has point guard like skills
for a 6-10 player. His court vision and passing skills
along with his ball handling skills are great for a
guy his size. Improving his other facets of the game
and could move himself into the first round of the 2004
draft based on his supreme potential.
