NBA Comparisons: |
Optimistic Outlook: Sam Cassell |
Pessimistic Outlook: Jeff McInnis |
Strengths: Very quick and athletic.
Excellent shooter from everywhere on the floor. Is a
great at shooting off the dribble, catch and shooting
and pull up shooting. Basically just a great shooting
point guard. Can score at will, but is also very good
at distributing the ball and running an offense. One
of those guys with a great scorer's mentality that you
can't stop, you can only hope to contain. Heady point
guard who makes great decisions. Great at penetrating
through defenses in order to score or dish it off to
a nearby big man for an easy two.
Weaknesses – Not a pure point
guard, still needs a little more experience and show
leadership on the floor to be an NBA point. This was
his first year handling the point guard position full
time and he did a great job, but there are still questions
about whether or not he has the experience and knowledge
to play the point at the next level. He needs better
decision making when the rock is in his hands. Harris
can sometimes have bad shot selection and tries to do
too much by himself. He is very thin and frail. Harris
needs to gain more weight in order to avoid injury in
the pros. Although he is a decent defender, his defensive
skills can still use improvement. |
