Strengths –
Mo Ke plays center for his Chinese team, but is
really a power forward. He has a good shooting
touch for a big man. He has a good midrange game,
he can even step back and shoot threes. Possesses
good mobility for his size, he runs the floor
well. Solid athletic ability for his size. Decent
rebounder and shot blocker. He is a tough player
who is not intimidated by good competition.
Weaknesses – Horrendous
low post skills, he does not have many post up
moves and is more of a face up player. Mo can’t
create his own shot, but can catch and shoot well.
Not a good defensive player…. even in China.
Will really need to learn how to use his body
more to stop opposing players. Similar to Wang
Zhi Zhi in defensive skills. Could become a better
rebounder and shot-blocker. Plays for the Bayi
Army team in China, which is the same team Wang
Zhi Zhi was on. Because he is a member of the
army, Mo Ke’s NBA availability is questionable.
