Positives: Excellent playmaker and floor leader. Excellent court vision and even shows some flash in his passing ability. Tall versatile ball handler who could cause matchup problems with his height on smaller point guards. Scores when he needs to, but more of a pass first player who is very unselfish. Excellent ball handling skills for a player his size. Skillfully handles the point guard position with poise and savvy.

Negatives: He is way too skinny. Livingston is built like a twig. Could use a year at Duke to bulk up and gain experience. Most likely not NBA ready. Needs more seasoning although he is really talented. Needs to improve every aspect about his shooting to be at the NBA level. Exceptional shooter for a high schooler, but won't cut it in the NBA. Because of his size he is not as fast as other point guards in the league. Also Livingston is not a freakish athlete who is average athletic wise.
