Isn't It Great
By
William H. Smith
Defense Lawyers are good at placing
the blame on anyone, or anything other than their clients, I suppose they must
do this in order to earn their adsorbent fees.
Shouldn’t they be held liable when they know their clients are guilty
and they get them off? The perpetrator
is made to look like the injured party, and being irresponsible seems to be
okay.
When it come to firearms you
hear much of the same, the firearm is at fault not the perpetrator. The firearm control advocates continually bombard
the public with; outlaw the guns that will stop gun violence. Taking the responsibility from the
individual, and placing it on the gun, gun manufacturer, and the distributor
and dealer. The gun advocates will
distort their cases in order to gain public backing, and the backing of our
government leaders. If they are proven
wrong, they are never made to answer for their deceptiveness. Isn't it great that we have
deceptive people influencing
our government leaders, and that injurious actions can be laid at the doorstep
of anyone or anything, except them, and that life goes on without anyone being
made to answer for their deeds.
The gun supporters want to keep the laws as they are, as
they have been since 1968. The laws on
the books are more than enough to control the illegal use of firearms. The violence we are experiencing is not
because of dumb law makers in the 60's and before, the problem is with the
irresponsible children that are being raised during the 60's, they are raising
children who are even more irresponsible.
This is not to say that all people are irresponsible.
In the 60's parents were
taught (by Dr. Spock) to raise their children by permissiveness, today we
have irresponsible parents raising children who are even more
irresponsible. With each generation it
becomes worse. Isn't it great? Society wonders why there are so many
misfits walking the streets and the hallways of our schools. (They won't find a
quick fix with a new law).
The point is put
"God" back into the schools, so the children have a chance to learn
good form evil. Make the individual solely
responsible for his or her actions, and stop the finger pointing, and make the
prisons unattractive to lawbreakers.
