Our first three levels are our "training" classes. Dogs and handlers are taught the obstacles and some beginning handler techniques.
Beginners is for dogs who have no previous agility training. Prior obedience work is required. Dog must know come, sit, down, stay (for short periods of time) and must walk under control beside the handler.
Graduate Beginners is for dogs who have completed at least one Beginners class. Dogs must be comfortable on most pieces of equipment. Weave poles and teeter are still being taught at this level.
Intermediate is for dogs who have completed at least one Graduate Beginners class. Dogs must be comforatble on all pieces of equipment (with the exception of weave poles). Handling techniques are stressed in this course.
The top two levels of classes are for those dogs who are trialing or preparing to trial.
Novice Competition is for dogs who have no agility titles. Handling techniques are stressed. Ring procedures are taught. Dogs who are currently trialing in the Novice level, along with those who haven't started trialing yet, but are preparing for the ring are in this class.
Advanced Competition are for dogs who have their Novice title(s) and are trialing at the Open or Excellent level. More advanced handling techniques are taught. Both upper level courses and advanced sequences are run.
