Our members have been very busy showing in various venues - obedience, agility, and conformation. Here is a tribute to those dogs who have completed titles and other accomplishments during July, August, and September, 1999.



Brags

September 25 1999 Dottie Australian Shepherd Sandra Walroth Dottie (Horizon Dot Com) earned her very first point toward her Championship at the Butler County Kennel Club Show. She won Winner's Bitch and Best of Opposite Sex. Dottie is only 1 1/2 years old. (See her picture on the "Pictures" page)

August 22 1999 Ruby Australian Shepherd Sandra Walroth Ruby picked up an additional 2 points toward her championship at the Talbot KC show in Easton MD. She won Winner's Bitch and Best of Winners.

August 15 1999 Hannah Golden Retriever Megan Rosemeyer At the Westmoreland County OTC agility trials, Hannah earned her second Novice standard leg with a first place and a clean run. She also received her fiirst Novice JWW leg, again with a first place.

August 15/16 1999 Cara Shetland Sheepdog Sandra Walroth At the Westmoreland County OTC summer agility trials, Cara (Belaire's Carawind Whisper UD OA OAJ CGC) earned her first two Agility Excellent legs, with a third and a first place. She also picked up her first Excellent Jumpers leg, with a first place. This was her first weekend out in Excellent A Standard.

August 14 - 15 1999 MacGee Shetland Sheepdog Kim Reeher At the Westmoreland County OTC agility trials, MacGee earned 2 Masters standard lebgs, with a first place and clean runs both days. He also earned his second Excellent JWW leg with a first place

August 8 1999 Lyric Border Collie Jan Mayr Lyric went Winner's Bitch and Best of Opposite Sex at the Mahoning Sheanang show in Canfield Ohio. Lyric picked up two more points toward her championship.

August 7 1999 Blaze Shiba Inu Karen Shaffer Blaze took a 4-point major, and went Best of Winners at the Beaver County KC show in Canfield Ohio.

August 6 - 8 1999 Hannah Golden Retriever Megan Rosemeyer In her first obedience trials at the Canfield Steel Valley Cluster, Hannah earned three legs in the Novice A class, winning 3rd place on her third leg, and completing her CD in three straight shows. In May, she had shown in the Trumbull County KC match, winning first place in Novice A, and went High in

July 3 - 4 1999 Mallory English Setter Kim Reeher Mallory received her first Open standard leg, with a 3rd place at the Erie Kennel Club agility

July 3 - August 16, 1999 Jake Labrador Retriever Kathi Scherf At the Erie Kennel Club agility trial, Jake received his first Open JWW leg. At the Westmoreland County OTC agility trials, Jake earned his second Open JWW leg with a first place and a clean run. He also received his second Open standard leg, again with a first place.
