A series of friendly match was played between Wah Sing Table Tennis Academy and South Sydney Junior League Club on Sundy, 20th May 2001. South Sydney Junior sent three teams, Team A, Team B and Junior Team, to represent their club to play against the three corresponding Wah Sing representative teams.

The match started at 1:30pm. Exciting and stimulating actions were seen and enjoyed by both sides throughout the afternoon as the two clubs contested for the winner trophy. After four hours of non-stop actions between the two clubs, Wah Sing was the final winner of this friendly match, taking the perpetual trophy home.

The running of this friendly inter-club match would not be possible without the dedicated organisers of both clubs, Mr Shannan Abdilla of South Sydney Junior and Mr Henry Chu and Mr Tony Lee of WSTTA . Wah Sing would also like to thank all the players from South Sydney Junior League Club for playing in the friendly match and we are looking forward to a bigger and better inter-club match next year.
