Zhuang Zedong Visit To Australia 2002

Legendary Chinese table tennis player Zhuang Zedong will be visiting Australia in May, 2002. This famous player won an unprecedented three consecutive World Championship Singles titles in 1961, 1963 and 1965, a feat which has never been repeated by any other table tennis player in the world ever since. Nicknamed “The Little Tiger”, he was the most devastating “hitting machine” the world has ever seen in the history of sport of table tennis. Using his unique style of fast attack on both forehand and backhand sides, he dominated the world of table tennis against the Europeans and the Japanese at the time and is regarded worldwide as a legend in the sport of table tennis today.

To celebrate this occasion, Wah Sing Table Tennis Academy, in conjunction with Chinese Sports Foundation of Australia, will be hosting a welcoming dinner party on Saturday, 4 May 2002. Fans will be able participate in his speech and watch this legendary player in action. He will also be available for photographs and autographs on the night. Other entertaining events will be included in the evening’s program. Tickets are available at $60/person.

In addition, Zhuang Zedong will be conducting a coaching seminar at Wah Sing Table Tennis Academy at 2:00pm on Sunday, 5 May 2002. Tickets are available at $20 per person (Wah Sing adult members $10, Junior members $5)
