I recommend that you go to a small pet store rather then Petsmart or Petco, because the small pet store will probably know there product better, whereas at Petsmart or Petco, the big part of the store is for Cats & Dogs. Plus the fish are not in good condition at all. I have heard pretty bad stories about them. I went to Petsmart once and in 3 out of every 5 tanks there was at least 1 dead fish, usually more. 2. Make a maintainence schedule for your tank. Example: Change the water in the tank every week or two, check the Ammonia, Nitrite, Nitrate and pH once a week. |
