Ok. So you've heard of this little group called the Beatles? Well, if you don't know too much about them you might say, 'Well, why should I listen to their music? They played a long time ago.'
Here's my answer.
Well, you see, the Beatles played all kinds of music. From the psychedelic sounds of 'Strawberry Fields Forever', to the classic ballads such as 'Yesterday'. Below I tried to cover the different sounds the Beatles covered.
- Country sounds- 'Act Naturally' 'Rocky Raccoon'
- Hard Rock sounds- 'Helter Skelter' 'Everybody's Got Something to Hide Except for Me and My Monkey'
- Ballad sounds- 'Yesterday' 'Someting'
- Psychedelic sounds- 'Strawberry Fields Forever' 'Tomorrow Never Knows' 'Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds'
- Sing-a-longs sounds- 'The Continuing Story of Bungalow Bill' 'Octopus's Garden' 'All Together Now'
- Rock'n'Roll sounds- 'Roll Over Beethoven'
- Crazy nonsense sounds that every one loves- 'I am the Walrus' 'Glass Onion'
- Mellow sounds- 'Here Comes the Sun' 'I'll Follow the Sun'
- Vocal sounds (sounds that contained more vocalized and harmony)- 'Paperback Writer' 'Eight Days A Week' 'Across the Universe'
- Classic Beatle sound- 'She Loves You' 'Hard Day's Night'
- A more "pop" sound- 'Help!' 'Please Please Me'
- Classical music (yeah... i know there's not much singing)-
'Pepperland', 'Sea of Holes', basicly half of the Yellow Submarine album.
- The toe-tapping-sing-along-cuz-you-love-that-song music- 'Boys', 'Do You Want to Know a Secret', 'I'm a Loser'
(Please note that these are just my opinion. If you have some to add to the list, please email me!)
