You stand before the keep of Blackhold, commonly known as Castle Blackstone. It is surrounded by an ogtagonal wall of black stone, and the central donjon, or tower, rises in the center. A large flag flies from the battlements of the keep. The light sunset makes the walls shimmer a mysteriuos purple. To the east is a gatehouse, it's narrow entry tunnel the only apparent way into the inner wards of the castle. A small building is built into the south of the gatehouse. A large portcullis blocks the way to the east. It is painfully bright here.
