| The only thing easily seen in Canis Major is Sirius (serious). It is the brightest star as seen from Earth except for the Sun. You can find Sirius by finding Orion and extending the line of his belt beyond his knee and you can't miss it. Sirius The brightest star as seen from earth besides the Sun.
