| Perseus looks like a big "U". Nothing too special about Perseus besides Algol and being able to find it. Algol Algol is a variable star. If you view it over several days, you'll be able to notice a change in magnitude between 2 and 3 over those days. Algol was the first eclipsing binary stars to be found. Algol dims when the main star is eclipsed by the orbiting star. |
