Basically G.M.G was created out of boredom and frustration. Me and Craig have been trying for about a year and a half to find members for our Death/Grind band Necrotic Mutilation. But hear in Portland it's a pain in the ass to find people into SICK and BRUTAL music. So we decided to start a SICK Death/Gore/Grind project in the mean time, hence G.M.G.

IT IS MENTIONED THAT G.M.G. IS A SIDE PROJECT OF A BAND CALLED NECROTIC MUTILATION. ARE BOTH YOU AND CRAIG MCINTYRE PART OF NECROTIC MUTILATION? WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE TWO BANDS?

Yeah, me and Craig are both in N.M., he plays drums and I play guitar. N.M. is more technical with longer songs in the vein of Dying Fetus and Devourment. Wile G.M.G is just insane Drum machine fueled Gore/Grind with much shorter chaotic songs.

YOU PLAY ALL GUITARS, AND DRUM PROGRAMMING FOR G.M.G. CRAIG ONLY DOES SAMPLES, AND VOCALS. WILL CRAIG CONTRIBUTE MORE INSTRUMENT DUTIES FOR G.M.G IN THE FUTURE?

He might possibly do some drums for some intros I've come up with, but I will still be doing pretty much all the musick myself for now.

RECENTLY YOU GUYS RELEASED A 15 SONG SELF TITLED DEMO TAPE, WHICH I MUST COMPLIMENT YOU ON! THE SOUND IS GREAT, AND THE MUSIC IS SICK AS FUCK! BUT I MUST ASK, WHERE WAS THIS TAPE RECORDED AT. IT DOESN'T GIVE DETAILS ON THE COVER OF THE TAPE?

Believe it or not it was recorded in one day on a little piece of shit four track at Craig's house. A friend of ours helped us out a little with the recording. We were very surprised on how well it turned out.

NOW WITH A NAME LIKE GENITAL MEAT GRINDER, THERE IS A SLIGHT CHANCE YOU MIGHT BE A GORE BAND! WHERE DO YOU GET YOUR SONG TOPICS FROM, AND WHAT MOTIVATES YOU TO WRITE SUCH VILE LYRICS? "FISTING A NEW BORN" IS MY FAVORITE TITLE.

Hell yes! We are a total GORE band! As for the song topics me and Craig just try to think of the most twisted sick shit we can to write about. We are influenced allot by sick gore movies like Aftermath and Cannibal Holocaust.

We try to stay away from the fantasy and zombie stuff. the lyrics are mostly about killing, mutilating, fucking, molesting, just good ole perverted and gory reality based shit.

I don't, if its done in a creative way. Not just "Meat Hook Sodomy part 12". You know? If band is creative and has fresh ideas not just rehashing the same shit over and over. We try to think of stuff that is sick but also has some originality. GORE will never DIE!

YOU ARE GOING TO BE RECORDING A NEW BATCH OF SONGS SOON. TELL A BIT OF YOUR UPCOMING RELEASE, "HARD GORE". WILL IT BE A CD RELEASE, OR ANOTHER TAPE?

It will be a CD release. We will be recording it ourselves again, this time on a digital 8 track. The songs will be much SICKER with way better production. It will have 30+ songs on it of hyper blasting Gory Death/Grind!!! Some of the song titles are: "Rotten Vagina full of vomit", "Torso: the Human Sex Toy", "Artistic Dismemberment", and "Hard Gore Porn". We are having Jake who does the Tales from Uranus zine do the artwork, it's gonna be FUCKING SIIIICK!!!

WOULD YOU EVER LIKE TO ADD MORE MEMBERS TO G.M.G. TO TORTURE PEOPLE WITH THIS MUSIC LIVE? IF SO, WHAT WOULD BE AN IDEAL SHOW FOR G.M.G. TO PLAY?

I would like to add more members, but like I said before, there's hardly anybody who wants to play BRUTAL death/grind hear in Portland (It SUCKS!). An ideal show would be with Dying Fetus, Devourment, Regurgitation, Putrilage (of Course!), and Mortician. It would be FUCKING insane!!!

Fuck yeah! I love Horror/Gore movies! It's hard to pick my favorite but id probably go with The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (I Know that there's not much Gore in it, but Leatherface fucking RULES!), Or Brain Dead/Dead Alive.

Probably Fred Durst from Limp Dicks. God I hate that pieces of SHIT! Him and his weak band fucking suck DICK! First I would grind his genitals in a meat grinder (of Course) then as the pussy bastard cries in pain, drown his bitch ass in a toilet full of my diarrhea. So when he's dying he can taste some of the shit he calls music!
