Andres what's up? Let's start out with the gayest question first. How did the band start?

what's up Ricky? The band was formed in '96 from the ashes of our previous band "Suffer" with the intention to create a more brutal, chaotic & faster kinda death metal. Now there are only 2 original members, me (Andres) & the guitar player (Leandro), the other ex-members were kicked out due to their gay attitude, not everybody here has the balls to play in a band like INTERNAL SUFFERING.

How has the response been to the new album? Has there been any haters towards the album yet?

The response has been just killer man, all the sick fuckers who have heard the album are really into us, we're really happy about the underground scene response. We've only had one bad review and it was from an European black/gay 'zine!! (hahaha).

I have not heard any other bands from Colombia that are worth a shit. So I assume the scene there is total shit. Tell me something about the Colombian scene.

You're right, the scene here is total shit, 99% of the bands just care about following trends or play the kinda music that sells more worldwide, they're just a bunch of assholes who think this is a fuckin' game or something like that!! In two or three years they won't even be playin' metal maybe not even listenin' to it!! They are always afraid of extreme, brutal fuckin' musick!! (fuckin' faggots should die soon!!) Some brutal Colombian outfits that deserve attention are: GORETRADE, PURULENT, CARNAL, among few others.

You know Colombia isn't known for shit except coffee how stupid is that? Do you like living in Colombia or will you be trying to move to America where the real sickness and originality is at?

Yeah, that's pretty stupid if you ask me, but that's the way things are, Colombia is well known for bad things like drug cartels & violence but let me tell you that not everything is as fucked up as press & radio describe it, I think Colombia is a cool country to live in, you can do lots of things not allowed in other countries. Maybe we'll move to North America since we got a lot of things to do over there like touring & recordin' our 2nd full length, things are much easier for the kinda musick we play, as you say, up there is where the real sickness is at as well as the true brutal support we need to carry on doin' this.

There has been only a true serial killer here, maybe you know him, he was known as "Garavito", one of the sickest guys ever, he killed dozens & dozens of kids, raped 'em & then buried 'em, he murdered children all across the country for many years, which is just fuckin' sick if you ask me.

How did you go about getting David Nigger to do that cover art for the album? Has he done anything else that good?

We asked Repulse to give us a hand with the album cover and described 'em what we wanted, the cover concept, they told us to hold on for 2 or 3 weeks till they got something finished, then Dave Nigger came out with that super killer cover, the most impressive thing is that he did the whole design by computer!! I don't know if he has done something else, the only thing I know is that he is the guy in charge of doin' all the Repulse's web designs as well as the layouts of the cds they release.

How did your band get on Qabalah Productions? What is your opinion on some of there other releases do you have a favorite? Will Qabalah put out any other releases by Internal Suffering?

We sent 'em a sample of the recordin' and they immediately signed us, Toni was totally blown away by the brutality & intensity of the album, they didn't expect such a brutal thing hailing from Colombia. All the Qabalah releases kick ass, the cool thing is that he only releases brutal stuff, my fave releases must be the Infamy & Dementor albums. Maybe they'll put out our 2nd. album too, they're very satisfied with the band & the way the CD is selling, anyways, we've already received proposals from other brutal labels worldwide, we haven't made a final decision yet but the only thing I can tell you is that the label must be fuckin' sick, a label that matches with our musick!!

I know your planning on doing a mini cd and a split cd tell me about these future releases? Also tell me about the upcoming US tour your doing.

Yeah man, we're putting out a Mini Cd titled "Unmercyful Extermination" in February 2001 on Japan's Macabre Mementos Records, and then we'll also release a split cd on Spain's Fleshfeast Productions with the US band Stench of Decrepitcy (formerly known as Malthusia). This split will hit the streets in March 2001. A limited vinyl edition will be also available. As for tours, we're touring the States with Brodequin & Vomit Remnants just right after the Ohio Death Fest where we'll be also appearing at. This tour is gonna' kill everyone, prepare to be exterminated!!

After looking at your bands picture I wonder why you would even put your faces on there? Who gets the most pussy in the band if you even get any.

Hahaha, that's a good one. We put our disgusting, ugly & vomiting faces on the cd booklet 'coz there was some space left & had nothing to put instead, so we decided to use our faces to make the whole design look even more disturbing!! (hahaha).
