You are 2/3 correct.
I believe that you have bias to eastern states.
Any other answers?

I recently read an artilce from the recent BusinessWeek  " Does your vote matter? "
This article displayed an US map to show which states for which Party in the previous 12 years.
The 3 most educateded States were difinitely voted for Democratic Party.

Consider this is a quiz for fun, which States are these 3 States?

Dear Tom. Ed, et al.

Happy Fourth of July!

I got back to the States on June 30th, but went to DC
directly from Shanghai. I had a full day of business
in DC on July 1st. I did get home safely late on the
1st, then went to bed for about 30 hours straight.

Now I am in my office, catching up with the routine
business in the US. For a while, I thought that I am
going to focus on some on going projects in China. But
during this trip, I expanded my activity to include
Taiyuan, Shanxi promising a coal conversion conference
by next spring and a coal bed methane project: the
first phase to be completed before 2004!

I did have a few good micro-reunions with Lao Hsiao in
Shanghai and Beijing this time.

Anyway, we have reclaimed Jimmy after eight years
hanging loose in LA, who is 26 years now.

This is a very unusaul fourth of July, US is in war
around the world. Let us pause for a moment to thank
the GI's who are doing a dirty job in foreign soils.

Be good and be in touch,

STH/MSY

Dear Classmates:

It is July 4th long weekend again, it reminds me of the changing of life.
1998 is the divider year regarding what I do in 7/4 season.

Before 1998, My family was always travelling 2 weeks in the US, I was the driver / tour guide / sponser for all those journey.
I had to convince my customers( wife and 3 children) those journey were  interesting enough to be away from home.
My wife was easily satisfied, her philosphy was :  Neither  cooking nor dish washing in travelling, anywhere is better than home.
It is hard to move children from home to airplane and 2-4 hours driving a day, I had to gaurantee that all Hotels TV channel must cover their favored one.
Thanks to its super infrastructure, north America is best palce in the planet to spend family vacations.

The July 4th of 1998 is special to our classmates, we had a 30 years reunion in Montery of California.
My youngest son joined our reunion as my wife didn't feel comfortable to leave him home.

Since 1999 no more child agreed to travel with us, me and my wife no longer need travelling in the Summer hot season.
Right now Summer is a good season to have your children back home from college.

Years later you should love Summer much more, it would be the  best time of a year to meet your Grand Children.

Life is so short and process so fast, enjoy your life as you can.
Happy July 4th to everyone.
