Hi CH,

Last Sunday (the day before yesterday), I had to fly from
Gainsville to Atlanta to transfer to Huntsville, Alabama.
Since Gainesville is a small airport, I figured I only need
to get there one hour before the departure time, so I went
fishing in the morning and later arrived at 4:00pm to catch
what I thought the 5:00pm flight. To my surprise, the ticket
counter was empty and security checked has been closed. Then
I realized that I forgot (didn't know) the time change.
Fortunately, The flight was delayed for about twenty minutes
and I convinced the security to let me through, just in time
to board the plane. Boy, I was never so happy in my life that
my flight was delayed.

On the way back home, it was a different story. I arrived at Atlanta
airport and found out that there was a power failure and the
entire concourse was blacked out. What a mess at the airport. My
flight was delayed for two hours that I missed most part of the
NCAA basketball championship game. Florida won convincingly
over UCLA (73-57). I was able to watch the last 5 minutes when
I got home last night. Though, the pilot kept us informed of the score
all the way. Going through Atlanta is always a nightmare. I have been
stuck there many many times.

Good thing about day light saving time is I have several hours
to fish in the late afternoon, the best fishing time before the
sun goes down.

Dear Lao Ho et al.:

I watch the news about Lucent, here are my personal thoughts:

1. It is a global playground now.
2. At our stage of career, Bell Labs. are only of sentimental value.

Have more fun with life and less stress...
