Wunderbar is not only a QH stud but also a Horse Rescue and Rehabilitation Centre. We accommodate for horses which cannot be looked after due to unfortunate circumstances.
As Wunderbar grows as a business we will be buying/saving horses from the sales to save them from being sent to the doggers. All Rescued horses are put through a rehab program. Upon arrival, all rescued horse's have their hooves trimmed, are vaccinated, wormed, fed, groomed, and taken through level 1 of the foundation program with QS Natural Horsemanship. Then placed into new loving homes.
As this is very rewarding it is not cheap. Any donations would be greatly appreciated. If you love and care for horses as much as us and want to contribute by making a donation or simply coming and helping out with the horses then contact us. It would be greatly appreciated.

Every horse deserves a second chance. If you can no longer care for your horse and are considering alternatives, please contact us. Your contact details and your horse's background are all that are required, reasoning for giving up horse is not necessary. All matters are handled with complete confidentiality.
Once they are completely rehabilitated they either remain with us or are sold to a new loving and caring home. Prices vary for each horse depending on their purchase price and medical costs. You can rest assure your horse will be given the second chance it deserves.
