Banjo is also a new addition to the family. Banjo is a wonderful horse with lots of character. He was imprinted as a foal and loves human company. When Banjo is in a paddock with other horses and gets bored he will pick up sticks and hit the other horses with them just to get them to chase him. He has also been known to hit the drainpipes of your house to wake you up if you sleep in. Another funny moment of Banjo's is when the vet came to visit and he took off down the paddock with his bag of equipment loosing everything out of it. This is what i mean by CHARACTER. He is such an attention seeking horse.

Banjo is a very easy horse to catch. As soon as he sees you he comes running up to meet you and turns and puts his head into the halter for you. Banjo is such an easy horse to work with. He is learning things very quickly and is always looking for new ways to impress you.  I am currently taking him through the foundation program with Quantum Savvy and we are currently doing level 1. He has been very well behaved and learning things with flying colours.

Banjo came from Brisbane and was owned by a lady called Mandy. Mandy loved Banjo to bits and misses him very much. I keep Mandy up to date with his progress and she is very happy with his new home. Banjo will be staying with me for the rest of his days and taken right through the Parelli program.

I will keep this page updated with Banjo's progress so feel free to check back anytime.

We have finished moving and I am once again working the horses (in amongst building paddocks). I have worked with Banjo a couple of times. I have played all of the games with Banjo so far and will be moving onto the riding stage when he gets better on his games.

I have been taking Banjo out on trail walks and playing games with him. He is getting very good with his games. And I will begin the riding part Monday next week. I want to make sure I have his respect before getting on his back. And at the moment I don't have his full Respect.

Myself and Nathan will be going to Level one lessons with Quantum Savvy (http://www.quantumsavvy.com.au/) on the 21st-24th of January. I will be taking Banjo and Nathan is taking Rowan. It will be interesting to see how it all goes. We are very excited and can't wait to get there.
