Congratulations! You've found the secret 'Easter Eggs' page.
Below is a listing of silly little easter eggs from each of my comics.
Updated October 4th, 2005 Updates are in BLUE TEXT
"Ditch
Day"
Will wears a Transformers t-shirt--one of my many childhood shows
Will has no skin texture yet
The internal maw shot on page 4, took many, many re-renders to
get right
"Skater Die!"
There's a chalk outline of Will's body drawn on...the grass!?
Will now has a skin texture
The bully is wearing an Iron Maiden t-shirt
"Dance Macabre"
Dance Macabre = Dance of Death
This comic was never finished
"Trick or Eat"
Sam is actually using Kyeat's model
A 'fruity boy' gets an apple in his mouth
In error, I didn't make page 6 -- I get asked for this page a
lot, but it doesn't exsist
"Dinodopia Park"
Title taken from Dinotopia and Jurassic Park
The flag on Corentin's shirt is turned the wrong way
"WS1: Enter the WunderSquad"
Title taken from 'Enter the Dragon'

This is the first comic I started having an active focus on
lighting

Zarmn is named after one of the translaters
Voonder has Kyeat's skull on his desk in the last page
"WS2: Attack of the Droned"
Title taken from "SW2: Attack of the Clones" (ugh...)
Ashton's shirt says 'too cool for school', but it is blurred as I
wasn't as good at rendering back then
The kids go to Napoleon Jr High
On page 12 Gryphon says "it's bad luck to ditch school", a
reference to the comic "Ditch Day"
"The Savage Forest"
This was the first time I created all of the clothing textures
for the
characters (except Max's jacket)
Berdy is singing a Rush song titled "Subdivisions"
The word 'Wunder' is written on Lesley's shorts
By error, Lesley's eyes are brown in the lower frame of page 43
"Operation: Undoing Freedom"
Title taken from 'Operation: Enduring Freedom'
The comic is fun to read while listening to "The Goonies Theme"
The quicksand and UFO were created by request
I used a pteradon simply because I didn't have an eagle model at
the
time
The line "I must...break you" was taken from 'Rocky IV'
The line "Hey you guys!" was taken from 'The Goonies'
The line "Comrade, you've been bad!" was taken from "The Goonies"
"Trick or Eat 1.5"
This comic was thought up after I had created 50 pages for "Trick
or
Eat 2", hence the 1 1/2
The two skeletons are the eaten boys from "Trick or Eat"
The original "Trick or Eat" was thought up after seeing a scan
sent to
me by the real-life Neji
On page 19, Baba Yaga's hands stick through the cauldron (oops!)
"Lad the Impaler (Trick or Eat 2)"
Title taken from Vlad the Impaler
Anthony's t-shirt say "Smartkidz Computer Camp"
Elliot is wearing a Motley Crue t-shirt (ugh)
Taylor wears a TMNT t-shirt, and gets mutated with a reptile
Kyle and Brett were created just to be quick little snacks at the
end
of chapter 1, however I liked their models so much I decided to give
them their own
comic
Jake's death scene took me about 6 hours to make
The bounty hunter is a reference to a politician I was upset with
at
the time
The mayor is named after another fat loudmouth politician
Datton is loosley based on a real-life boy model/actor
Neji's shoes were off at the end of "Trick or Eat 1.5", and then
mysteriously back on in chapter 3!
I'm on pages 62-65, or at least a CGI version of me
The monsters eat 9 lads in chapter 4 alone (almost 10)
Neji's shoes are properly off in chapter 5
"Kyle in de Nile"
Kyle and Brett were first made as extras in "Lad the Impaler"
Kyle's shirt says 'Dragon Con 86'
"Space Cadets (in Space!)"
The teens in the comic were created from MilTeenBoy, not MilBoy
as most
comics
I created the main aliens by mixing parts of 3 different models
The cadets ship is called the SS Napoleon
"Brett of the West"
There are two "Back to
the Future" Refernces in the comic
"Mouth of the Beholder"
The title is a reference to the phrase "Eye of the Beholder".
Parry is a reference to Potter, Harry.
Kyeat can be seen in the background of page 30.
Mel Ziller can be seen in the background of page 30.
Liam's (Moon's) path is crossed by a black cat.
The City of Polywerp was first invented in a NeverWinter Nights
Module I created years ago titled "Orc Standards". The module dealt
with the conflict between 'The CTP' and 'Orc Standards'.
Slywind Reserve is a character I played in D&D (lawful evil,
of course).
Will's skateboard can be seen in the shop where Datton buys his
new outfit.
This comic is full of "Wizard of Oz" stuff, especially in the
last chapter.
Tuatha = Lion = shows courage, despite his fear (those are not
opposites!)
JayKey = Scarecrow = uses his mind to accomplish his goal when
battling (you know who).
Taylor = Tinman = shows his love by making that big sacrafice to
save (you know who).
I guess that makes Datton kinda like Dorothy in a way.
Polywerp is like the Emerald City.
Justice is like The Wizard (except a lot meaner!)
"Death of a Paperboy"
Title is a reference to Miller's "Death of a Salesman"
Mr. Lowmin is a reference to that play's star character
"Blight of the Boyeating Bugs"
The "WK" soccer team is a reference to Wunderkind (duh)
Simon was named after the nerdy chipmunk
The boy who gets chomped by the roach at the pool party also gets
chomped in "MotB" chapter 4
Gryphon was put in this comic since his own "WunderSquad ep 3"
was put on hold
"Soccer Party Massacre"
Jonas was first seen in "Lad the Impaler" ch4. He's the one
who said "No, not me!" and pulled outside his house.
The title is a parody of "Slumber Party Massacre"
"Lad of the Dead"
Title is a parody of "Land of the Dead"
Chapter 1's title is a parody of "Living Dead Girl"
