KA old trailer
A Tribute to Cirque du Soleil's KA created by Masongoliver. And if you visit the KA ticket booth at the MGM Grand, you can see the extended version on their tv screen.
P.S.
For those of you planning to see KA and would like advice on ticket seating, here is my suggestion: I suggest you go to http://www.cirquedusoleil.com/CirqueDuSoleil/KA/en/ka-tickets.htm to purchase tickets. Ticket prices depends on seating. I suggest buying tickets for seats in Section 102, Rows J-R. Those tickets run $150 but it's worth the money. Sitting in the cheap seats will not be that enjoyable, and since you're coming all this way you might as well see the show in the good seats; it's definately worth it. There's two ways to go about your experience at KA. If you want to see the overall image of the show, my first choice would be Section 102, Rows J-R. Second choice is Section 103, Rows K-R (the bigger the seat number, the closer to the center you are in Sections 101 & 103; Example: Section 103, Row J, Seat # 15). Third choice is Section 101, Rows K-R. But if you really want to be drawn into the story, like you're in the story, then it's best to sit in Rows A-J, especially in the center of Section 102. If you choose to sit anywhere in Section 201, 202, or 203 you have a totally different experience. It will be more like watching a movie rather than being in the movie (like in Section 102). Anyways, here's the visual of what I was talking about: http://www.cirquedusoleil.com/CirqueDuSoleil/KA/en/Images/KAtheatreSeating2en.jpg KA plays Tuesday - Saturday, 2 shows a night. We don't have shows on Sunday and Monday. Our shows are at 7:00pm and 9:30pm (1st and 2nd show respectfully). Come see 2nd show especially if you're visiting an artist because trying to visit someone after 1st show is much more complicated. If you're coming to see the show with me and my sister in it, then come see the show either Tuesday, Friday, or Saturday. On Wednesdays, Jen's understudy rotates in the show, and Jen only does minor parts. On Thursdays, my understudy rotates into the show. So if you're coming to see the show specifically coming to see us, then Tuesday, Friday, or Saturday would be the best days. Of course, I highly suggest seeing the show on Friday or Saturday. Those two days are normally our strongest line-up of performers. When visiting an artist, tell an usher at the end of the show that you are here to see "NAME". Be sure to let the artist you are visiting know ahead of time that you want to meet them backstage, and the artist must "OK" it with Stage Management to let you come in. Anyways, again everything I wrote here is just my opinion; especially my preferences on seating. The ticketing booth may advise you otherwise; who knows? I just know that whenever we watch rehearsals, this is the order most of us go by. ^_^ |
