On February 6, 2001 the Caucus celebrated President Reagan's Birthday and staged an Alzheimer's fundraiser as its first official event.
The Birthday extravaganza brought new members and a gret deal of notariety to the Caucus.
Chairwoman, Michelle Bimson oversaw the operation with an iron fist...here she looks on as students sign a birthday card for the president making sure no one steals her pen.
The Caucus used the occasion to raise money and awareness for the Alzheimer Association of Delaware.
W stands for women!  Kelly and Michelle take the early shift at the table.
Steve keeps his eye on photo-boy (not seen) as Jim signs the Birthday Card.
Carl plays with a stuffed bear...somehow it all makes sense.
Michelle, Kelly and Steve working the table...Bimmer thinks maybe she should pull her best Sean Penn impression and attack the paparazzi...
Bimmer wonders what she was thinking leaving Zach alone to run the show while everyone else was in class.
Senator Specter, could you explain that single bullet theory again?
Faculty and students alike are attracted by balloons to the table...apparently everyone likes balloons.  Ron laughs realizing that we actually just had a Ronald Reagan Birthday party at this bastion of leftist elitism...the times they are a'changin'
